What are the best practices for local food distribution in Ontario and beyond?

Making sure your product is well cared for between time of pick up from maker to time of delivery to consumer
I like what Norfolk County is doing, I think farmers markets have merit also I like what I see about the 100 Mile Market Company. Something
distribution system to link the country with the city.
on-line ordering club, farmer collaboration, "local food terminal", focus on markets who really want it, create communities around growers
Community Shared Agriculture programs. Community gardening initiatives. Farmers markets & Community Markets set up in low-income neighb
Better farmer's market hours. Weekdays during work hours are not convenient in any way. Nor is a jam packed Saturday.
